Review ALPINE Vintage Model Cassette Car Stereo See Video Tested New Belt
The STEREO button seems to be unresponsive. Both dials, VOLUME/TONE and BALANCE/TUNE, are working as they should. The tape deck works and sounds great. The PLAY, RW, FF EJECT functions all work as they should.
The PROGRAM button/function is working as it should. The MUTE button behaves strangely it won't mute audio output when a tape is being played and the radio there strong signal but will weak. Pressing this button changes which side direction of the tape that is playing. See video I have installed a new belt prior to listing ensure that this deck plays for years and come. The DOLBY NR, LOUDNESS METAL buttons/functions are responsive and work as they should. Made in Japan by Alpine Electronics 1981.
The green light above the STEREO button does not turn on when pressed and no change in volume is heard. When the left hand button is pushed unit switches between Radio/Tape mode. The green directional lights are responsive and working as they should.
